Med spa supply pricing: where the overpay hides.
A med spa buys like a clinic but gets quoted like a retail customer. The markup rarely sits in the line item you watch - it hides in tier minimums, shipping, and single-source habits. Here is how to find it and how to compare suppliers free.

Five places a med spa loses margin on supply
- Tier minimums sized for clinicsDiscount tiers set at volumes a single med spa never reaches. You pay the small-account price while the supplier advertises the big-account one.
- Single-source habitsOne supplier for everything feels simple and costs 10-30% on the items that supplier prices high. Loyalty is not a discount.
- Shipping and cold-chain feesPer-order freight, ice and rush charges that never appear in the quoted unit price. Two small orders a week can out-cost the product.
- List-price anchoringA "20% off list" offer against a list price nobody pays. The only number that matters is the delivered price per unit, compared on identical terms.
- Quality failuresA failed lot with no remake policy costs the full order plus the appointments you cancel. Cheap supply with no paperwork is the most expensive supply.
The fix
Compare on identical terms, not on quotes
Two quotes are only comparable when the lot documentation, shipping, minimums and remake terms match. Most "expensive" suppliers are cheap once terms align, and most "cheap" ones are not. Put every supplier on the same sheet: delivered unit price, tier breaks, freight, lead time, lot testing, remake policy.
Then negotiate from the sheet. Suppliers sharpen prices when the alternative supplier is named and real.
How it works
Pre-vetted suppliers, one comparison
Tell us what you buy and roughly how much. We match your list against suppliers whose paperwork we have already checked - lot testing, terms in writing, entity verified - so you see delivered prices on identical terms. You buy directly from whichever supplier you select.

Who this page is for - and who it is not
This page is for med spas and aesthetic practices buying professional supplies at single-location volume. Multi-site groups should read the wholesale pricing framework instead. Patient-specific preparations against valid prescriptions belong to the 503A pharmacy route. Research-use materials are never for human or patient use.

Common questions
Why do med spas pay more than clinics for the same supply?
Volume tiers. Pricing is set by order size, and a single med spa rarely reaches the tiers a clinic group hits. The fix is comparing suppliers whose tiers match your real volume.
How much difference does comparing actually make?
On identical terms, supplier quotes for the same item commonly differ by double-digit percentages. The spread, not any single quote, is the opportunity.
Should I split orders across suppliers?
Usually yes for your top two or three items, once you know which supplier prices each best. Keep one supplier per item so lot tracking stays clean.
What paperwork should come with every order?
A lot-matched Certificate of Analysis from an independent lab, with the methods named. No paperwork, no order.
What does the comparison cost my med spa?
Nothing. You buy directly from whichever supplier you choose.
